Changing Seasons

Tomorrow is the first day of spring. Daffodils come to mind. When I lived in Missouri the Daffodil was usually the first sign of spring I would see. It's pointy little green stems poking up through the ground and then what seemed overnight they would be in full bloom.
I looked up the first day of spring, I found out that Spring is The Vernal Equinox. It is one of the four great seasonal changes every year. Day and Night are equal.
Spring is the season between winter and summer. The first day of spring is when the sun is directly over the equator. This is the time of year when life begins again in nature. Like the old saying of "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb". I think of daffodils and flying kites. Warm days and cool nights. Nature thawing out and waking up. Welcome Spring!
